A woman, 'Demos', ca. 75 - 100 AD.
An inscription on the mummy of the woman read: 'Demos, aged 24, remembered for ever'.
Demos has elaborately dressed hair, with tight curls and a spiralling plait secured by a horizontal hairpin, bar earrings set with pearls, and a necklace consisting of round emerald beads and a gold chain.
