Russian/American Abstract Expressionist painter.

  
  -1914 Lived in St.Petersburg
  
  1916 Served in the Imperial Guard 1916.
  
  1924 Traveled extensively before setting in Havana in 1924.
  
  1933 Traveled to Mexico, then Paris where he settled until 1933.  
  1944 Moved to Sweden; emigrated to the U.S. in 1947.
